Before you call: what to expect
Calling about a chimney shouldn't come with surprises. Here's the whole call laid out — so you know what you're getting into before you dial.
Chimney on fire right now? Hang up and call 911 first. Once everyone is safe, we'll find you a crew to check the flue.
What we'll ask — about two minutes
To get your request in front of the right local sweeps, we ask for four things:
- Your name and the town you're in
- What the visit is for — a sweep, an inspection, a repair, or something you're not sure about yet
- How urgent it is — smoke backing up, a recent flare-up, an animal in the flue
- Anything that changes the job: fireplace or stove, last time it was swept, roof access
That's the list. No account, no commitment, no pitch at the end — and you can hang up at any point, no hard feelings.
What happens to what you tell us
Your details do one job: getting local sweeps to quote your job. We share them only with local crews that want to earn your business, we keep them only as long as that takes, and we never sell them or add you to a list.
The longer version — everything we collect, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted — is in the privacy policy. It's written to be read in about two minutes, same as the call.
