How we list
This directory is built by hand, entry by entry. Here's exactly how it works.
How a company gets listed
- We research chimney operators working Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties — their own websites, public listings and reviews.
- Local Michigan companies only. Multi-state operators with Detroit landing pages aren't listed, even when they rank in local search.
- Being listed is free. We don't charge to add or keep a listing.
Verification
- We publish a phone number only after confirming it — read from the operator's own website, or confirmed by a call.
- Listings still being confirmed say verification call pending instead of showing a number. We never publish a number we haven't confirmed.
- Details (services, service area, prices) are summarized from what the operator publishes. We date every listing's last review.
Why the numbers aren't tappable
Company numbers are listed for reference, not as buttons — one accidental tap on a phone shouldn't dial a business. When you're ready to talk to someone, our call line ((313) 391-5885) finds the right company for you in one call.
Order and ranking
Listings appear grouped by home county, and the display order is randomized on every page load — nobody is prioritized, alphabetically or otherwise. We don't sell position. If we ever offer clearly-marked featured placements, they'll be labeled as such — nothing else changes.
Corrections & removals
Wrong details, closed business, or you'd rather not be listed? Contact us or call (313) 391-5885 and we'll fix or remove it, no hassle.
What we are not
We're not a chimney company, not an inspection service, and not affiliated with any listed business. We don't take a cut of your job — you deal with the operator directly.
